Leslie Gray with Daniel Crommie "The Beacon"

Coming Tuesday, September 29th - a new album from Crommie-Gray. 11 new pieces featuring Leslie's electric violin, cello, viola and violin  and Daniel's flutes, electric dulcimer and electronics. Following on the heels of last year's instrumental "Harbinger" which Sea of Tranquility stated "These 11 songs twinkle, sparkle, inspire and seduce - as if they were the soundtrack to an award-winning albeit unmade nature film".
"The Beacon" was recorded during the winter and spring 2025-26, engineered and produced by Daniel Crommie at Digitalis Studio. The title chamber quartet-style track was inspired by a nautical beacon in County Cork, Ireland where Leslie has a part-time residence. This is the fourth album in the series of electronic-based music by Crommie-Gray. Special guest Colin Henson (ex-Jade Warrior) played electric guitar on two tracks. Cover art and mastering by Jamie Haggerty. Get the download at BandCamp, or stream this album at all the usual platforms starting September 29th.
