This 1984 album was a significant turning point for Daniel Crommie - transitioning from esoteric folk troubadour to eccentric experimental electronic artist. Recorded at Retching Jackal Studio from January 1983 to March 1984 in Portland and engineered by Richard Paige, this was the first project Daniel committed to eight-track tape. Originally released in the summer of 1984 and available on cassette - this is the first time "Polarity" has been in print since 1984. Transferred from the original analogue stereo master at 24/48 resolution by Dave Fulton with audio restoration and mastering by Jamie Haggerty in May 2025. Listen and download at BandCamp.
