Daniel Crommie compilation "Phantoms from the Passed" released

A new CD compilation of Daniel Crommie's solo instrumental work covering the years 2006-2018  will be released Tuesday, September 18th at Band Camp and Amazon. The first CD Daniel has released since "The Last Thing I Remember" in 2006, "Phantoms from the Passed" will feature 14 tracks sampling a dozen albums with a total time of just over 79 minutes and will also be available for download only at Band Camp. This is a limited edition digipak with full color art on the package and disc.

Preview a new DC Sound Collective track

You can preview a track from the forthcoming DC Sound Collective album "Dirae Pax" which is due for release this summer. "Thoughts & Prayers" is a commentary on the pervasive gun violence in the USA and features Eldon Hardenbrook on bass, Bruce Hazen on guitars and Daniel Crommie on vocals, electric dulcimers, flutes, keyboards and drums. New Weave music at Multnomah County Library Project


Portland, Oregon's Multnomah County Library has started a streaming service featuring local and regional artists, which you can access with a membership to the library. Daniel Crommie and Saturnalia Trio are two of the New Weave artists to be among the featured so far. Here are links to each of their pages:

Preview a new track from Daniel Crommie's upcoming album


This year promises a bumper crop of new releases from Daniel Crommie and DC Sound Collective with two new solo albums from Daniel Crommie and one from DC Sound Collective. On Tuesday, February 20th Daniel's "Storm Front", a new collection of instrumental electronic / flute-based material was released at iTunes, Amazon et al. On Wednesday, June 20th yet another album "Winter Roses" will be released which features electro-acoustic pieces recorded in November/December 2017, including a few wilderness improvs recorded during the previous summer in central Oregon. You can hear the lead-off track "King Nine" here. Both titles will be released a month early at Band Camp.
